What This Calculator Does

This tool calculates your current shooting percentage from makes and attempts, and can also tell you how many additional shots in a row (assuming all are made) it would take to reach a target percentage.

Formula

Shooting % = (Makes ÷ Attempts) × 100

Makes Needed (x) = (Target% × Attempts - Makes) ÷ (1 - Target%)

How to Use This Calculator

Example

68 makes out of 80 attempts is an 85% shooting percentage. To reach 90%, you'd need to make about 17 shots in a row without a miss.
